Chiara Ernandes

Chiara Ernandes (b. 1989, Rome) turned her attention to photography after graduating from the Classical Lyceum. She supplemented her 3-year course at the Roman School of Photography with in-depth courses and workshops. Ernandes’ practice is enriched by her interests in humanistic and sociological subjects, and nature is an indispensable metaphor within her research practices. The complexity of the topics that characterize her approach is expressed through various types of visual media, integrating and combining them with the language of photography. For the past two years she has been dedicating herself to her project ‘Still Birth”, which in July 2021 will be published by Yogurt Editions as a photobook.
