Angela Blažanović

Angela Blažanović (b.1995, Germany) is a visual artist based in London, UK. She graduated from London Metropolitan University with a BA in Photography. The overlooked & discarded traces of human presence, and the attachment to a landscape, are central themes in Blažanović’s practice. In her work Fragments of a River, Blažanović creates compositions of found objects from the bed of the River Thames at low tide. Drawing on the aesthetics of Dutch still life paintings, the artist transforms discarded objects into fragile compositions, highlighting the beauty that lies within.
